A World Without Online Casino Companies
18 Jun 2006
One day, of course, online casino companies will overplay their hands with the many stock options and commitments and just might end up losing more money than they make. In such an instance, you can bet that the players will be among the losers in such a debacle, and you can also probably bet that the online casino world will not take much of a lesson from what happens and will continue with their strange ways. What would the world be like without online casinos in it?
For one thing, there would be not a single sports team that has an online casino as a sponsor – or owner. There would be no international Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments online, and of course there would not be the millions of websites out there which, in one way or another, make references to online casino sites or online casinos directly. Without online casinos, it is doubtful that many of the pay-on-the-net companies that exist would continue to exist without online gambling sites, given that extreme competition would wipe out many companies early on.
The bottom line is, without online casino sites or companies the net would likely be a less crowded place. There would, let’s be fair, probably fewer online companies trying to in one way or another subvert U.S. laws and restrictions as there would be no online casinos to emulate and learn from in this area. Depending on your personal views, online casinos have been either a blessing or a curse from those who created them. The chances of winning money at online casino sites are incomparable to the chances at a regular, real casino. Why? There ain’t nothing like the real thing.
